Song of the week 4-4

It’s the first song of the week for April and I decided to go the route of a one album wonder band, The Union Underground. These guys started in the late 90’s, broke up in the early 2000’s and had three big hits, “South Texas Deathride”, “Turn Me On Mr. Deadman” and “Across the Nation.

I listened to these guys a ton going into high school and it’s a shame they only lasted one album. I recently put their CD, An Education in Rebellion back into my CD player and was upset with myself how long it has been since I listened to them.

However the one awesome thing to come out of this break-up besides a kick-ass album was bass player, John Moyer went on to join Disturbed. Click the link below to enjoy the song, “Drivel“. Turn it up loud and break some shit.
