Packers Keys to a week 16 win.

This is a bit late today but I have been on the road and have pit stopped in Racine to watch the game. Here are some keys to a Green Bay victory.

1. Contain CJ2K:

  • After a horrid start to the season, Chris Johnson has put together a nice season. His 94 yard touchdown run last week proved he can take any rush and turn it into a highlight reel. Johnson can get his yards just make sure it’s not for 80 and a touch.

2. Ryan Grant/DuJaun Harris:

  • No Alex Green today so the ole vet comes in to start for the Pack. Green has played well the last month. Harris runs hard and Grant has looked strong outside of a fumble.

3. Short passing game:

  • It’s cold in Green Bay so the short passing game is going to be key. Footing will be bad and the ball doesn’t seem to travel as well in the Lambeau cold.

Packers win 34-20.

Packers keys to go 4-0 in the division.

It is week 14 all ready and the Packers are looking to go 4-0 in the division and get some comfort in the NFC North. It is the first prime-time game at Lambeau since week two against the Chicago Bears. Let’s get to the keys to a victory!

1. Run game/play-action:

  • It’s going to be a snowy night at Lambeau so a good dose of Alex Green who has run better the last month will be a huge key to tonight’s game. Ryan Grant should also factor in and this is his kind of football, cold and snowy. A respectable run game might finally make a team cheat it’s safeties up a bit and the Pack can finally hit some big plays.

2. Greg Jennings:

  • Jennings made his long awaited return last week and had a respectable game back. (4 for 46). Jordy Nelson can’t shake a hamstring injury and Jennings needs to be reliable in this game tonight. James Jones has been a TD machine and Randall Cobb has been a fantastic weapon but Jennings needs to do some dirty work over the middle.

3. Contain Calvin Johnson:

  • This is one of the most difficult tasks in the NFL. However it could be possible tonight. The Lions put Ryan Broyles and Titus Young on IR the last few weeks so the Pack should be able to have help coverage on Calvin all night. Mikel Leshoure is a powerful back but I don’t see Detroit focusing on running the ball.

Also a big welcome back to RG25!
